GPS Interference Testing - 9.2017

The FAA has announced a GPS Interference Test off the eastern coast of North Carolina in the later half of September.  The tests will be conducted at the dates and times listed here:

16 – 23 SEP 17 1100Z – 1300Z
24 SEP 17 1100Z – 1159Z
25 – 30 SEP 17 1100Z – 1300Z

These tests will have the possibility to impact all GNSS users, however the most notable impacts will be seen at higher altitudes (aviation users).  Most ground based GNSS users will see minimal or no impact.  The most probable impact for ground based users will be inside the 116 nautical mile area shown in the attached image.
