An issue was reported Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at 11:05 AM by users in KS / MO experiencing issues with coordinates in and around the Kansas City Metro Market. Upon investigation, SmartNet Staff discovered an issue that was causing the physical processing coordinates to be part of the correction message (IGS08 Epoch 2019.250) versus the the normal product broadcast coordinates (NAD83 NA2011 Epoch 2010). All services in KS & MO were taken offline Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at 11:15 PM ET to correct this issue and prevent further confusion in the field.
Services were restored with the correct broadcast coordinates being used on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at 12:15 PM ET. All users in the KS & MO market should review any work conducted from Sunday, May 12, 2019 at 10:00 PM ET until Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at 12:15 PM ET to assure there works was in the correct reference frame and epoch.
